Not just this, but with the current political situation – many people are choosing to boycott Russian owned companies and brands (including Tilda websites). The knock-on effect of this could mean that your website (built with a Russian-owned CMS) will lose traffic and therefore conversions and sales as a result. So if you currently have a Tilda website and use their CMS, here is what we recommend to safeguard your website and it’s content.
Backup your website
Take a backup of your Tilda websites as soon as possible so that you have the most up to date copy of your website and all of the content on it. In this way if your website was to go down or be hacked (note that this can happen to any website – backups are paramount!) you should be able to restore it from the most previous backup. If you do decide to change to another content management system (CMS), you will also have this backup of your website and data as a crucial reference point. This also makes for a smoother transition too.
Change to a different CMS
As the issue can originate from the CMS itself (i.e. Tilda), it can make sense to change your website to a different CMS altogether. We would recommend the WordPress CMS as it is one of the most popular, safest and widely used CMS in the world today. Fully custom websites are 100% possible with WordPress, so if you want your existing website design to be essentially duplicated so that it looks no different to your visitors – this is possible. As a leading London web design agency, we can help you with this.
