Instagram Marketing – Four Ways to Promote your Brand

Photo Ads The most popular form of Instagram marketing is that of photo ads. On your Instagram business profile, simply tap on the post you are looking to promote and then select “Promote” from the options. This will then let you set the promotion parameters such as the audience you are looking to reach, the duration you want the promotion to run for and also the maximum budget that you are looking to spend. Once these have been selected, simply tap on the promote button and pending a review (usually no more than sixty minutes), your promotion will be active on Instagram. For those familiar with social media marketing, this process will […]

Silverstone 24h

We can’t wait for the upcoming 24h Series at Silverstone this weekend as we support the OCC Lasik Racing Team. It is no secret that we at Webheads are huge petrolheads and we have a big motorsport following in our offices. Exciting times indeed as there is a great digital aspect to the race in the form of onboard live streams so that we can stay on the literal pulse of the action as and when it happens! In fact, combining the digital online realms with the word of motorsport is a passion of Webheads that has infiltrated our web design portfolio. One of our longstanding clients of motorsport website design is […]

Websites that make leads Happen are designed by Webheads

Happen came to Webheads as they were looking for a website design experience that could represent them around the world seamlessly. Therefore online branding took a big slant of the project with the need to present a cohesive image to website visitors from around the world. We took a less is more approach to their branding which paid off in spades. Strong colours juxtaposed against a clear white font and iconography made for an attention grabbing (but not abrasive) visual impact which keeps the eye drawn to the website. We were conscious that this needed to be a stoic and long-standing design, so we were sure to implement the colourings and stylings […]

Preparing for the Next Web Design Frontier – HTTP2

What do I need to know?: The main thing to take from all of this is that new developments bring with them new improvements. Websites designed on standard HTTP will still function as normal, but websites designed specifically for HTTP2 (or optimised for same) will perform that bit better. As we know with the competition online today, those searching online are spoilt for choice and may gravitate towards websites which load and perform better and faster than others as this forms part of a better overall Ux. This can get quite technical and dense; but it is suffice to say that HTTP2 is poised to become the new standard in swift and […]

Creative, Immersive and Responsive – The Webheads Way

Creative With thousands (if not millions) of new websites going live every year, it is getting that bit more difficult to stand out from the crowded online marketplace. Not so when you get your website designed by Webheads. Working for international brands and their respective brand presences and advertisments; Happen needed a website that remained true to this creative flux but could also manage the ongoing flux at the same time. We produced a slick and world-class platform for them that displayed both their own creativity and the creativity of the brands they work with. “We engaged with the Webheads team when we realised we’d reached a point in our business growth […]

Facebook Recommendations Reach UK Businesses

As a Business, what do I need to know? You need to know that the Facebook recommendations update is mainly for personal users to benefit from, but smart businesses can poise themselves to reap the benefits too. When a user posts a status stating the likes of “What events are on tonight?” or “Where is a good restaurant to eat on Thursday night?”, the Facebook algorithm kicks in. By recognising what the user has posted via the text they use (“What events”, “Where is a good restaurant” etc.), the comments they receive will be optimised for them. So if a friend recommends a restaurant by commenting on the status, if that restaurant […]

How we Design and Deploy a Fully Functioning eCommerce Website

When clients come to us seeking an online shop element for their business website, we always make sure to keep this at the forefront of our minds during the design process. This seeps into the overall layout and design of your website and also becomes evident in the imagery and text used within your website. A full throttle approach such as this results in the presence of your online shop and shopping cart being known and accessible without being forced onto your website visitors. See our eCommerce website design for the London Pass website as an example. The yellow ‘Buy Now’ button in the header, smattering of attractions and prices in the […]

How we Create Luxury Website Design Interfaces

The website we designed for Senzati illustrates this point well. Senzati provide VIP transportation for their clients in their luxuriously modified Mercedes vehicles with their flagship being that of the Jet Sprinter. To showcase this expansive (and expensive) vehicle, we made sure to utilise full screen imagery which went edge to edge for the screens of both desktop and mobile devices. This allowed every detail of the vehicles to be showcased such as the embossed leather seats, sound and screen systems and spacious tinted windows and sunroof. Straplines accompanied these images explaining for example that the vehicles can be further customised to suit specific client requests and journeys. While visual aspects are […]

Review of Website Design 2016

NMU Insurance: We modernised NMU’s web presence by building and designing a clean and clear website that divided their different insurance sectors by using a tile-based layout. Within each tile lies a wealth of information for the website visitor (and potential customer), ensuring to implement calls-to-action and easy navigation for that all important user experience (our specialty at Webheads). Supreme Court Events: When high-profile political clients require a website that they know will receive a lot of traffic and public interest, they contact the expert team here at Webheads and entrust the task to us. We designed an impressive and sophisticated website for Supreme Court Events to showcase their venue and services […]

How a Seasonal Website can Remain Relevant all Year Round

One of the more recent additions to our sprawling client portfolio is that of Santa Holidays from Canterbury Travel which specialises in holidays to Lapland and meets and greets with Santa Claus himself. Understandably, their seasonal website sees the most traffic and interaction in the winter season during the run up to Christmas. However they also offer summer trips to Lapland by highlighting how ‘unspoiled’ and magical the country is all year round. This is reflected in the text and copywriting of the website in a way which reveals to the website visitors that Lapland is a destination that can be visited and enjoyed all year round. Due to this reliance on text, […]
